Life with an adolescent dog or a new dog in the family can feel a little crazy. If you find yourself thinking more about issues like pulling on leash, jumping on visitors, what piece of furniture is going to be chewed next rather than enjoying your dog, that’s where we come in. Let Us Do The Training For You!
Training our furry friends can be exhausting, frustrating and feel fruitless. Let Us Do The Training can do the training for you. In this 5 week training period Our Lead Trainer and Owner, Athena Labberton, will come to your home during the day, for up to an hour, and train your dog wherever problems are occurring—in your home, around your neighborhood, out at the park, etc.
Hang out and watch Athena transform your dog, or do whatever you need to do: Work, run errands, take the kids to their dentist appointments. Or do something nice for yourself: Maybe sneak in a quick spa or gym stop, or enjoy lunch with friends. However you spend your day, enjoy the peace of mind of knowing you’ll be coming home to a better-behaved dog.
Package consists of a total of 5 weeks of training. Includes:
- 12 sessions with Athena training your dog
- 4 transfer sessions with you and your dog to get you up to speed
- 2 follow-up session a few weeks out to make sure you are still enjoying your well behaved dog or puppy. Access to Athena’s virtual office hours
Let Us Teach You To Train!
You want to be a part of the training, so we can coach you to train. Our Lead Trainer and Owner, Athena will come meet with you to determine your goals for training your furry friend. She will help you pick the right package for your dog, or she can help you create a customized plan. Then, you will meet together to implement the training plan. You will have the tools and responsibility to practice in between coaching sessions.
Packages of 4 to 8 sessions. You meet with our lead trainer and Owner, Athena to learn how to train your dog.

Have you ended the puppy class age and entered into a more mature, curious, independent phase? Is your dog starting to show some crazier attitude or behaviors that you’re not enjoying?
Our Owner and Lead Trainer, Athena will lead you and your dog through training games and education to master good manners. . Your dog will really rock their sits, downs and stays. They will be able to rein in their adolescent crazies and make you proud.
We will work on solving a few minor behavior issues, working on basic manners and helping integrate your dog into your home life.

Bugsy’s Good Manners Plus
If your furry friend is showing behaviors you can’t live with, or if your friend is new to your family and needs some gentle easing into the family routine, this is the package for you. We will work our Good Manners training program, work on leash manners and walking skills, and add into it the needed training to help smooth out the rough edges or end the unwanted behaviors.:
All of the above, plus an emphasis on problem solving, great manners at home and out in the world, work around distractions, and getting your new furry friend integrated into your home.

Is your dog walking you? Are you having to hide behind bushes and cars to get past other dogs? Are we having fun yet? We can help!
Let Us Train your dog to walk with you, pay attention to you on the walk and respond to commands out in high traffic areas. ‘
With Bugsy’s Excellent Leash Manners, Athena, our lead trainer and owner, works with your dog, first building foundation skills and then taking them on the road. Often it’s fear, excitement, or frustration that makes for a difficult walk, we help your furry friend listen and look to you for direction when the going gets rough. We will take your furry friend out and about so they can be successful all over town.
Our recommended package begins with an Initial Consultation to determine our course of action.
Package consists of 2 -3 weeks of training.
Includes:
- 8-12 sessions total
- 6-9 sessions with Athena and your furry friend
- 2-3 sessions with you and your dog to get you up to speed
- 1 session for follow-up to make sure the walks are still to your liking
- You also have access to Athena’s virtual office hours
